I finally pin-pointed where I first played Minecraft after looking at Classic Development.
I joined on 6/10/09
Version 0.0.16a_02
I knew it had to be this version because this is when my bro showed it to me and he was talking about multiplayer being released and I remember the old Classic textures
when I first played on Redshift Oceanbuild.
Dam, i must say that server was very fun
I still remember how the server map was built,
Here is how you would think of it
1. Empty Bedrock bowl that the rims end at sea level
2. Fill bowel with water
3.Bottom of bowl is rough sand hills and mountains underwater, a thick stone layer is under the sand
4.Spawn is at sea level.
5 Bridges, towers everywhere above sea level! and an awesome variety of buildings
6.Underwater many sponge towers help you fall to the bottom of ocean, and many other towers leading up and down.
7.Many glass structures at different levels of the ocean.
8.Many temples, tunnels, and houses were built into the sand and stone layers under the ocean, many were flooded and many were sponged up.
The stuctures inside the sand and stone we're used as temporary alliance/clan bases/doomsday structures.
9.The server had all kinds of games everywhere that I cannot put into detail but Redshift server the most fun out of every server in classic.
10.Believe it or not I had a great smooth fps while there was 30+ people on the server.
11.This server is a great example of classic in its primetime.
